Deer Run Farm is seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team as a full-time farmhand supporting daily hatchery and farm operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, values hands-on work and takes pride in being part of a small farm family. Much of the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

1. daily chicken care and egg collection
2. washing, weighing, grading, and sorting eggs
3. dogs, cats and pig care
4. assist with farm maintenance and general labor tasks
5. monitor animal health and report concerns promptly
6. clean and sanitize equipment, brooders, coops and workspaces
7. pen turnovers and chicken growout pen reorganizing
